I AM BANDED!

Hi, I just got my band ...less tan 24h ago - NYU dr Fielding.

We are having the same Surgery Day :-)

Have to be in the hospital 8:30 AM tomorrow. YAYKS I mean YEEPEE... Oy vey

Tomorrow is the day.

One day and two nights till the surgery day YEEPEE

I am less scared now than a week ago. And the liquid diet does not seem so bad today.

3 days until my surgery.

Day 9 of pre-opp liquid diet. Still not a fan of it… But brains are so liquefied - I no longer care :-/

Over one week on pre-opp. Under a week to the surgery. Hate the pre-op diet.

Weekends on pre-op diet are NO FUN. Have to stop myself from stopping at the frig all day long .

First day of pre-opp diet is done with. Can't say I am looking forward to thirteen more.

Pre-op diet start tomorrow - good luck to me :-)

Hi I am four days till my pre-op diet... Will you be banded @ NYU?

HELP any sugestions on how to get away from this site and clean my house, do shopping?! :-)

Was your surgery at NYU?

Another week of waiting has passed. Tomorrow is Monday - have to call my surgical coordinator to make sure the last of my papers are finally submitted.

Was told after all my appointments that doc's office will submit papers for approval Monday 24th. If it is a NO then will know by end of this week. if Yes - next week. Was tiered of waiting and called my insurance today. They never got a call from my doctor ... AHH!?!?!

Waiting for approval has began. If I am NOT approved - I will know next week. If I am - I will know in the next 2 weeks.

Keeping fingers crossed - if Insurance approves - Mid Feb surgery YEY

I am frustrated. Just checked my 2011 Health Insurance card. They switched from Empire BCBS to Anthem BCBS. I just went from no insurance requirements to a 5 year history AND 6 month supervised diet AND 5% weight loss before approval. FRUSTRATED!!!!

Please let me know if you were required by Dr (not insurance) to go through pre-surgery diet and/or weight loss.

Would you do it again? - the band I mean
