Hi Mimi11's-you were asking how's life with the band,I havn't had the surgery yet ,i am considering the sleeve,I am scared of the band and the erosion,I talked to my surgeon about the sleeve and she recommened the sleeve for me because of the doughts I have about the band plus I dont want to gain back any weight if I had to have the band removed.go to verticalsleevetalk.com and see for yourself.

I understand exactly where you are comming from,I have 1 person that I used to tell about things that I was going through until I wanted to go have the lapband done and she told me,"quote"-I lost weight through weight watchers I don't understand why you cant do it,see I really didn't ask for that kind of input,I asked her what she thought about the surgery,I didn't ask for her premission.

Hey Michelle,I added you as a friend if you son't mind,the girls on my profile added as friends are new ones too we are at the same point,no one has been banded yet,I have my 1st appointment on Jan 10th,and skinnychick has her 1st siminar on the same day,we are starting around the same time trying to incurrage each other and let each other know what we go through kinda lika mentoring,,

Some say friends come a dime a dozen and I've spent plenty of dimes and went through plenty of dozens but I found a rare friend when I found you!

hello,goodmorning I saw where you were talking about the insurance Hip.yes the doctors do accept that ins.see I have Ghi and I was scared that they didn't accept it either but the nurse told me they do,Im gonna send you a personal message later with the info from the hospital that I went to here in the bronx and they have a siminar comming up in Janurary on the 6th,so look for a personal message.

don't worry I havn't had my surgery yet either,I had to attend a 2nd siminar and finially found the doctor that I want to do my surgery,the nurse was wonderful she told me exactly what I need to do and when I need to do it so that everything would fall right into place,I have my first app.on Jan 10th with the dietition and the doctors assistance,,so like you said(Finally getting things going)

I am determined that this is what I want to do,I have the insperation that I need, the education from the Surgens team and Im doing Ok,now all I need is the Lapband surgery.

I had my siminar and it was wonderful I felt like I was talking to a celebrity when I got to ask the doctor my questions.

Hi simplymechanged2011,just a little secret children are gonna be mean no matter what,I figured onced I made this change for myself I would get my youngest involved in my weight lost too and maybe it would help her and her self esteem,your child is not alone kids at my daughters school is unruley too so tell your daughter shes not by her self it is everywhere, we may get a membership to Bally.

I feel that I want to get banded for myself and myself esteem and no one understands this but me and ones thats are going through the same thing
