Another to the most popular date in December! You've just joined our biggest "group" within the group! Congrats on your day!

I don't see mine here anymore but I bought one from Title Nine. I think it's best if there is not a lot of stretch in them. Here is a link to their bigger sports bras. Good to know. I see my PCP on Friday and will ask. I've never had either before and only had the flu once about 10 years ago.

Lol, thanks! I take happy pills that have mysteriously been more potent in the last 1 month plus! My last increase (for anxiety) was in Juny but suddently in late September I just have been in the best mood! lol My Jeep broke down IN Atlanta in Friday afternoon rush hour and i was like, okay...whatever. I called the mechanic on Tuesday and he tells me my Jeep is dead, that's it, no more Jeep and again, okay....whatever! Husband did the laundry, ruined a cute shirt....laughed! Fell down randomly in the parking lot....not even a curse word! I told my hubby he better take advantage of this great mood because after surgery I may be a ridiculous hormonal mess! lol Right now, we are just enjoying the good mood! Happy wife, Happy life! lol

Okay, I added sknyinside and moved Simpley_ke up to the dates section! Was hoping to move myself today; however, that didn't happen. I called the office and actually reached the scheduler. She said she had my chart "right there" and needed to see if the doc had signed off on it. She put me on hold and I never spoke to her again! I waited and waited and then the phone started ringing and went to her voicemail. I waited 20 minutes and called back. I was put on hold and waited and waited and it went to voicemail again. Stinks. Seems like if it was right there I should have been able to schedule my date. Oh well....here's hoping for tomorrow!

I do think about it ALL day long. There were times, especially in the beginning when reading sooo much new information on here, that I sometimes forgot and thought I already had it! lol

It really depends on your age, how long you've been overweight and genetics! Some people have what I call "tight fat" which clearly will reduce down with little sagging. If you're like me and already have "loose fat" or already have sagging skin, it ain't going anywhere!!

Ok, I added Andrew (fpmr96a) to Dec 10 (yay now there are 2) and mscognac504 to the unknown date list. I find it odd that we have 83 December people yet only 68 people following this thread! I wonder if they changed their minds, changed their dates or don't like us? Hmm.... Hopefully I get to update again tomorrow with MY date!! Got my Upper GI and EKG and that's all! The radiologist said the upper GI was clear. Doctor's office said they would get the results this afternoon and the surgeon should sign off tonight and I should get a call from the scheduler tomorrow!

Oh my gosh, I would be excited and scared at the same time!! elsnanny is going to be very upset that she is losing her sleeve buddy! I would be all for missing Thanksgiving, I am definitely DONE with this lifestyle. I don't have a preop diet but I am starting my wean off of sugary drinks and carbs! Tonight was the last italian night for me (Carrabba's). In the future, though, they have an amazing spicy sausage and lentil soup that I can have as my family has pasta! I will definitely be one of the strict high protein low carb, no white foods kinda sleever girl! Good job on giving up the soda!! I know that's hard! I will change your date on the list!

Some people are told it pushes the food through quicker and you become hungrier quicker and others are told it's because it takes up too much room in your tiny tummy and there is not much room left for the actual food, and therefore you get hungrier sooner. Either way, you will get hungrier sooner because of the dense Protein not staying in your stomach and you can eat more often than you should and possibly more calories than you should. So, yes, I believe this is a long term thing if you want to lose the weight and maintain the loss. When you chew the food so well before swallowing, you don't need a big gulp of drink to wash it down. I've been doing that and noticing the food actually tastes better when you take time to chew it and I'm not desperate for a drink to wash it down.

Here's a thought to help you all through the recovery and your time off: Whenever you're feeling rough or wondering if you will be ready after a week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, just think of me. I have a history of terrible recoveries from procedures and I will have 2 nights (one would be a regular work night and one is a night I'm off) in the hospital and hopefully 2 nights when I get home (one a regular night off and one a work night). So, that will be only 2 nights off of my home desk job. That should make you take a sigh of relief!

Oh my gosh! That is 82 people so far with dates (or possible dates) in December! I know there are more who haven't joined us, but can't believe that there are 82 who have!!

I passed a calcium type of kidney stone last year (no sleeve) and was told not to take calcium supplements because it would cause more. So, one NUT said calcium supplements, I asked about another stone. She said that sun e I have had a stone before, my water intake needs to be between 80-100 oz instead of the usual 64 a day.
