Hey my bandster friends!! Hope you are all doing well! I am now 3-weeks post-op and feeling really good. I really think I probably need a fill, but my primary physician told me to be patient and just let the surgeon decide when I need a fill. She said since I was so sick to my stomach afterwards, I need to let it take its course. I have a friend that asked me this week if I still had regrets and I was able to finally say "NO"! The first couple of weeks, I really wondered though!

Hey everyone!! Hope you're all doing well! I am now 3-weeks postop and feeling great, but the scale shows I've gained 7lbs which I'm really upset about.

OMG, 2-weeks post op and I finally feel normal today. It has been a rough 2-weeks and hope this is just the beginning of me starting to feel much better!! Don't let anyone tell you, that you'll be recovered within days. Everyone is different and you won't know until you have your surgery!

Well I made it through!! In quite bit of pain, but each day has gotten a little more barable.

Can't wait, Thursday June 30th is finally the day my life will change!!

Anyhow, this doctor isn't as friendly as Brebbia, but he is the leading surgeon at St. Agnes for Lap Band. he also doesn't require his female patients to do any sort of pre-diet. He says men have too, but not ladies. Men have a lot more fatty tissue around their Liver and Stomach. I'm happy with that, but will probably do a few days of it just to ...

Hey samnic's, how are you?? I went to the doctor in Balitmore and as I expected, God had this planned. Come to find out Dr. Brebbia should have had me on Nexium because of the Ulcers that were found. This doctor told me to get my RX filled right away and take two per day. I'm being told it will help heal them, but major complications could have happened. Won't know a date until ins approves.

Welcome!!! Have you had your surgery yet? What phase are you in? I've been cleared for surgery for the 27th, I go for my endoscopy on Wed, May 18th. Getting very excited, but nervous! Good luck to you!

Hey, how's everyone today? I'm so frustrated! Today was the day I was going to have my last appointment with the surgeon and I had to cancel and reschedule for May 4th! The lung doctor will not approve me until he gets results of the test and I can't get them done till April 18th. Oh well, I guess I've waited this long another month won't hurt me!! Jonna - THAT COOL!!! I've never known anyone with else with our name. I've googled and know there is an artist in the Virgin Islands named Jonna White (White is my maiden name) that was really crazy!! I even received a post card when I lived in Florida from a couple looking for a painting. I had to call them and let them know, I was not the Jonna they were looking for. What part of Alabama??

A little upset after the lung docto appointment. Thought this would be smooth sailing, since it was the last one I need, but have to have a breathing test and the earliest they can do it is April 18th. This means my surgery will be pushed back to at least May, I'm sure!! I have to go back to the lung doctor on the 25th to get all the results so needless to say I'm not very happy!!

Well I meet with my Lung doctor tomorrow for clearance. This is the last clearance I need! Wednesday, April 6th is my last visit with the surgeon so I'm hoping to get a surgery date! Hope everyone is having a god day and all your dreams are coming true!

Hey there, how's things going for you? Have you done anymore research? I got clearance from the Heart Doctor, so just need the Lung doctor to approve me next week. My final appointment with the surgeon is April 6th and I hope to get a date. Hope your day is going good!

I am 41 years old and have battled with weight issues my whole life. I am married and live in Delaware with my 4 kids (a Rotty, Shih Tzu, Cat & Cockateil) LOL. I just love my animals, can you tell? I have been researching the Lap Band for at least 5 years, but have always hit a deadend until this year. I'm so excited about changing my life and this is just the tool I need.
