    Homie Dont Play That

It could very well be a combination of both....you got irritated & you are still too tight! Bottom line is if no liquids can be tolerated you can dehydrate really quickly. I'd recommend calling your doctor asap. Hope you feel relief soon!!
  2. I slept on my side "spooning" a body pillow as soon as I was home from the hospital, try one of those

    Feeling Hopeless

I joined Weight Watchers on December 30, 2012 after being banded on October 25, 2010 mainly for the support system of people all in it for the same reason! I had lost 85 lbs put on about 20 lbs because I was letting life's complications get in my way and then feeling sorry for myself or resentful that this(weight) was yet another struggle I had. Weight Watchers may not be for you BUT do try to find something or someone to help you puzzle out your feelings, emotions & actions. Good luck!!!

    cheated..feeling guilty

I'm not the most religious person you will come across but I can tell you only God/Jesus could walk on water! We are human & fallible, the trick is to use this slip up to learn & move forward in the most positive way possible as quickly as possible. You are off to a great start so I have no doubt you will use this lapse to motivate yourself to do better
  5. Matter of fact I walked past a GNC today & they had a whole display of the buggers
  6. Allieg8tor the Pumpkin Spice is RTD so live it up LOL!!
  7. skikyd you have to realize many people on here who also trust their doctors 100% have way different guidelines from them. I'm not talking about out & out "rule" breaking just plain old different timelines that their doctors progress them on. For instance I was on mushies the following day after surgery, actually had to eat either moist tuna salad or cottage cheese before they would discharge me & was to continue this for the first month (with protein shake supplements), then moved to solids. My doctor considered lean moist ground beef/turkey/chicken/pork totally acceptable for the mushy phase. I have lost 115+ lbs since my surgery. I am to have on average 75g of protein a day but by your definition I would be trying to kill myself with my food choices. Of course there are people who choose poorly & I'm not referring to them but we can't generalize because others choose within their guidelines but those choices would not fit into your guidelines. I hope I worded this politely, I truly am not trying to sound critical just passing on what I have observed from posters the last 2 years I have been hanging around
  8. I can live on the GNC Go Lean shakes, especially the vanilla & strawberry!! I but the ready made because I am lazy that way LOL. I haven't seen the cookies & cream, is that a mix or ready made?

    Seen Dark floating dots

I meant to add you should check with your doctor to my post. Obviously there are many many reasons this could be happening so best to get to the bottom of it!
  10. I always thought it felt like a doorbell, but I like your visual better LOL!!

    Seen Dark floating dots

I've had it happen a few times in my lifetime prior to almost/or actually passing out. Most recently because I am still on BP meds & apparently now that I have lost 117 lbs my BP actually dips too low after my 3-5 mile walks. My primary doc doesn't want to lower meds since my cardiologist was the prescribing doc so I have an appt with my cardiologist because this is annoying.

    My lap band story

I am very glad you are happy with your choice & my best wishes for your continued health!! I do want to inquire why you suffered with 4 years of heartburn & sleep deprivation because of it? I'm not being critical I truly want to know why you & your doctor didn't jointly look into alleviating it along the way before deciding on removal. Maybe you did & couldn't but just wanted to ask

    I'm confused

I think you will find everyone's post fill restrictions to be different. For example mine are only soft mushies for 2 days then resume normal eating/solids. So I'd follow what your doc says to do

    Hello, my name is Mike

Mis73 I'm of the same mind as you.....I can lose weight fabulously & then I can gain it all back (plus a few friends) fabulously so my getting banded was my change & extra tool to utilize for finally getting to and then maintaining a healthy weight! PS:I'm almost there
  18. I'm bursting with happiness & have to share that I am now officially overweight!!! You know those annoying height/weight/BMI standards??? Up until my official weigh in today I have still been in the obese range....despite losing over 110 lbs! Well, today a total loss of 117 lbs (so far) has finally bumped me down to being merely overweight. I assure you no female has ever been this happy to be overweight LOL
  19. PS: There is even more good news is that I am now down to weighing 168 lbs!!
  20. Thx dee257!!! I find these forums such a great support
