From mid September to mid October I went through a rebellion that would even impress a teenager rebelling against curfew & gained almost 5 lbs during it!! However I'm here to tell you that you can stop the feeding crazy train, just take it one step at a time. Since then I have lost those gained pounds & 6 brand spanking new pounds! Reset your determination a portion of the day at a time. Don't wake up saying today I will do everything right & be perfect, take it one meal (and between meal time slot) at a time. I bet by the end of the day you will have a mostly good day. Good luck & keep us posted, we're all pulling for you

I also love Peanut Butter & have it on a fairly regular basis. I would also recommend the to go cups for Portion Control. I have found Jif Whips to be way more satisfying (think whipped butter compared to stick butter), it has less calories for the same amount & since it is creamier should pose no band issues.

Seriously 23 lbs in less then 3 months & you are a little discouraged....20 lashes with some Protein I do not know how much you need to lose overall but 8 lbs a month is wonderful. Keep up the good work, follow your doctors rules and take it easy on yourself!! Congrats!!

Lost a 1/2 size, had to ditch all my wide widths & also had to tie all my sneakers much tighter!

I'm not liking it at all honestly! Getting used to something new doesn't bother me at all but now it isn't anywhere near as easy to find enjoyable.

Did you speak to your Doctor & Employer about this? What was the outcome?

Aside from the possibility of you not being able to physically help someone if the need arises (and that is a biggie) I would think the chlorine in the pool would be an issue since your surgical incisions will not be fully healed. As your doctor ASAP

You haven't found anything about how much a person "should" lose within the first month because there is NO should amount. Every person is an individual starting at a different weight, BMI & with different post op diets. That is too many variable for anyone to name a set amount to lose.

Maimonedes in Brooklyn is a good hospital, I'm surprised they couldn't get their s#%t together quicker!!! I understand they don't come upon this type of situation every day but seriously they should be smart enough to consult someone in the know!!
So happy you are on the way to feeling better!!!!
