  2. Congradulations!! WOW!! 66lbs is a lot of weight. You should be so proud of yourself. I am very proud of your success. I'm sorry i didn't check up but I was going thru so much stomach issues and got depress that I couldn't get the surgery done last year as well. I would like to go to the HUMC mtg. is it free? at what time? Would you be there?

  3. Hi Corkee, Just wanted to know how you where doing. I got really sick and needed to go under treatment for HPylori for a couple months. My gastreonterologist didn't want me to go head with the surgery until everything was ok. Now they found that I have a hiatus hernia and a couple of ulcers. But looking into geting myself back in the ball game and getting it done. Do you regret having...

  4. Hi Randee,

Hope you enjoyed your crab legs. I called the nurse and she says we don't need any restrictive diet only to not anything after midnight on surgery day. So I'm trying to cut down but not anything drastic. As is going to be the last time I will be able to eat the same way again.

I don't know about you but I've been having second doubts. My cousin who had the lapband has been trying to talk me out of it and getting the sleeve. She had the lapband for 1.5 yrs. and had the erotion and the slipping, and now has the sleeve with duodenal switch for 2yrs. and has lost 120lbs. I know she means well. But I don't think is like that for everyone. I was approved yesterday for preop by my primary doctor. But need to see my gastreontenologist this Friday whose treating me for a H-Pylori. Hopefully I will be able to get rid of the infection before the surgery.

  5. Hi Jachut,

You seem the most knowlegable and experience LBT person. I would greatly appreciate if you can befriend me and help me thru this journey. I am 41 and a little nervous to be banded on 11/19/10. Do you have any regrets? I don't see any before pictures, but your after pictures are awesome!!

  6. Hi JanaBanana,

Have you lost any more weight with the band. Where is your body weight now after lapband. Do you regret getting it done?

  7. I don't know of the group support. Can you tell me more about it. They didn't tell me when I was at the office. I would like to join but don't have a schedule of when they meet. I'm nervous!!! I have a girl and boy girl is 20 and the boy is 17. I want to talk to the nurse to see if there is a special diet we need to follow. I've been trying to do it on my own but I always cheat at the end of the day. When I talk to her today, I'll let you know if there is any. I know you are not to take any tylenol, motrin, or advil at least 2 wks. before surgery. Do you have any support from your family or friends?

  8. Hi Corkee,

It seems we have much in common with our Lapband. I will like to go in this journey with you. Hopefully we can discuss our goals and falls with each other. Take care
