Hey, WOW thanks for checking in...I'm good - Surgery went great, I've had one fill w/ 1cc so I have next to no restriction. But not gaining back too much. I go every 2 weeks for 1cc at a time. Frusterating but I'm sure it will be worth the wait. How long did it take till you saw major loss???

Now I'm with no restriction and feel like I did pre-op...So, I'm doing Weight Watchers till I get a fill.

After surgery you'll be swollen a lot...So, you will have restriction - I was on liquid for about 3 days then I started to try mushy (yogurt, mashed potato, creamy soups etc.) Did mushy for about 5 days then started to try normal foods (sausage, veggies, fruits etc and took the small bites & chewed)...By about 7-8 days post op I could eat whatever I wanted and didn't have t...

Hey, I will be banded on Nov 19th...I'm so excited and scared...I just want this to work. I've tried EVERYTHING to lose, then just gain back. Have you found it hard at all...Any bumps in the road?

I'm living in Toronto Canada and have to pay on our own $16,000 so this is quite a step I'm taking...Where are you from?

Hi Sandra, I just read your blog (Oct 25/2010)...And you wrote exactly how I want my experience to go...I'm planning to get my band in 4 weeks and I worry about having issues with food - Wanting to eat (emotionally) or not chewing it enough and having pain - or from what I've read feeling like I'm being suffocated...Some scary stories out there...Make me think twice.
