What are you looking forward to???

HEY EVERYBOD!!! I know with all of us getting our health in order and we are making goals but what are you looking forward to the most. It could be the compliments you get a along the way for us who just started or for those of you who have made your goal what were you looking forward to more than anything in this world. I know for myself I want to get on a plane and be able to sit in my seat without pulling the strap all the way to the end just to get it to fit around me. Also to sit in my seat and not have my thighs smushed together by the armrest.:ohmy: I CANT WAIT!! So if you have anything your looking forward to post it!!!

oh YES, that is a perfect NSV (non scale victory) for me. To be able to use the tray for my laptop or water.

Also I can't wait to be able to find clothes that look age appropriate on me! So may of the plus sizes make me look older than I am:-(

Yeah I dont know who picks the clothes for plus size women in some of these stores, but I guess the clothes tell the story. Ugly clothes so you dont draw attention. However I'm ready for a 16, 14 or even a 12. Coming soon to a body near you...lol...

I would just love to be able to cross my legs and to finally wear a dress again. My legs haven't seen daylite in a least 30 yrs. Honestly !!!!!!!

Looking forward to turning 50 in regular sized clothes, not carrying around 100 extra lbs (my back is going to thank me most :smile:), not wearing out the inner thigh on my gym pants because I walked ALOT and my thighs rubbed together so much, sitting in my office chair and not sliding out constantly because my booty is so big :), being comfortable in my skin!!!!!

Great question!

When I am invited to a function or an outing, I have a habit of wanting a new outfit. I go to the store, try on clothes and if I dont find anything I like, that is comfortabe/cute without a girdle I wont go. Im SOOOOO sick of girdles! So, I am looking forward to walking into any department store and not looking for the plus size section. I want so very much to see something cute hanging and walking over to it knowing that they will have it in my size, and not plus size.

Good morning to all;

I'm looking forward to being outside and not wondering who is making snide remarks and watching me. I love to camp and do garden work BUT, don't do much of anything anymore. I'm so glad I have found these forums, they have helped me make one of the biggest decisions of my life!

This is a fantasitc question. For motivation I keep a list in my wallet of things I hope to accomplish with weight loss. Here is a few:

1) Putting on my socks without holding my breath.

2) Not feeling like a mammoth in an airplane seat.

3) Being able to sit with my knees together.

4) Not having a red ring around me where my bra was.

5) When I turn the steering wheel for it not to touch my stomach.

6) Kill my CPAP.

7) Not to be able to put my hands under a fat roll.

Thanks for sharing :)
