Today Not a Good Day

:thumbup: Today is not a good day. I called Emory and they wer letting me know that my ins. (cigna) requires a 6 month diet. Ok I already knew that the issue is that the seminar was so awesome and drew in so much attention that the dietian is booked until May.:ohmy::mad2:

I don't want to lose two months sitting on my thumbs. My ins doesn't require a PCP but I think that the best thing to do would be to seek one out ASAP so that I don't lose any more time. I really want to make a life change and this surgery is really going to help me. I need help.

Even though your Ins may not require a PCP before ins approves this surgery you will need to be followed by someone so that proper documentation is provided to ins on you, and any health issues you may have related to Obesity such as High Blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid condition etc...I work for a PCP doctor and know ins inside and out I just had the Lap Band a week ago tuesday and my wait along with thousands of others was long too! Everyone is required to complete certain steps in order to get Ins Approval and than a Surgery date set, I hope this helps GOOD LUCK!!!!
