LAP-BAND Patients

It sounds like either you need smaller bites and chewing more or yes you could be too full.

Good luck!

LAP-BAND Patients

I underwent lapband surgery 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately, during my initial surgery, my surgeon used a band that was too small and resulted in complete obstruction. The symptoms you describe are exactly the symptoms I experienced. Fortunately, my surgeon was able to replace the smaller band with a larger one and I only had to suffer these symptoms for one day. Please follow-up with your surgeon and ask for a barium swallow as this will provide a clearer picture. Good Luck!
