Now addicted to running!

If anyone is having a hard time sticking to an exercise routine, I would really suggest running. I know it sounds crazy - I never thought I could do it. Six weeks later I'm totally addicted to the endorphin rush I get from running. I ran 1.5 miles in 23 minutes today - without stopping! Go me!

If you've just had your surgery or are still in the process of getting approved - stick with it. I totally love my band and the opportunities it is affording me to a new, better healthier life! I hope to run my first 5k in October. And, I'm going to Las Vegas for my birthday in November. Man - life is great!

Also - I need some new friends. Can I get a friend request out there? Guys - where are you all?

Awesome! I used to run A LOT in High school. Since I have put on so much weight I stopped. I have issues with my knees. I hope they will subside with my surgery. I loved the "high" I got from running. It was a great stress reliever. Keep it up girl!

I too, was a runner in high school and would love to get back into it. It always made me feel so good. I have knee problems and issues just walking on the treadmill, but will continue until I am back running. Just wanted to let you know that I am also in TX. You said you were waiting for -90 degrees to try my soup recipe. Since it is all I can eat right now I have ot muddle through even at 90+ degrees. Good luck with the running and I hope to be joining you on the road soon. Take care.

Chin up, we can do this together
