I know it doesn't matter what anyone else says it is how you feel inside. But, you have so much to be proud of. And the support you get from your family with them wanting to take your picture you know they are proud of you.

I have just started with lap band. I am 2+ weeks from surgery and have only lost 5.5 pounds. So 70 sounds like so much to me.

I know you have a lot to be proud of. Just think of where you were and where you are. You will never go back. Enjoy the journey.

Chin up we will do this together.

We all hated being fat - that's why we got the surgery. I am not a patient person (and sounds like you aren't either). But, you will be able to see a difference soon. I am right at 49 pounds lost and I can't really see a difference but I can feel it. Focus on what has changed and try not to obsess your look on a daily basis. Keep it up - 70 pounds in 12 weeks is not an easy thing to accomplish.

Don't be so hard on yourself. I can see a difference and it really matters about how you are feeling (down 79 post would about sum it up).
