The Phone call...

I have been waiting for this phone call since May...I almost gave up. The last time I called the Surgeons office was about a month a go...I was told she would call me as soon as I was approved...I took the hint not to call her back. I had called once a week for two months so I am sure they were tired of me.

I went to the office with a smile...everyone in my offices is aware of the 'easy way' out I have decided to take. One of the girls said what is your smile about did you win the lottery....I said no but I might as well have. I told them my surgery date of 10/28/08. They all seemed happy for me and I only got one”I can't believe your doing this to yourself" comment.

The only reason I told people in the first place was because I did not want them to speculate and have the rumor mills going....gossip is so much less fun if it comes from the one that the gossip effects.

310 pounds today....goal 198 (for now)

That is such great news!!

Try to keep a journal or this blog. Write down your ups, your reasons, questions, answers. Then when you have a down (& we all do) you will have something to go to that will reinforce and refocus your decision and moral.
