Ohhhh noooo. I didn't even know that this could happen until my last appointment. My port has evidently flipped up on it's side....hopefully, it doesn't turn all the way over.

Yes, let us know how it goes at the hospital.

The doctors arent sure why it flipped over. They are unable to move it or flip it bqck without surgery. It could be from lifting too much too soon..thats hard to say I am a student (heavy book bag) a mom heavy kid stuff LOL, a wife heavy laundry a bunch of pets..who knows. I will find out today when my surgery will be. Unfortunately I do not have time for this I have finals next week ahhhhhh!!!!! Anyway thanks for your thoughts!! Hope all of you guys are well! Have a great day!

Please take your surgery and put it down as number one "uno" on your priority list. I know your children and kids are number one but right now the surgery and your health is more important because if your not around to take care of your kids because you didn't take care of your self---This is so important I can't put it into words.

Ok I just got home from the hospital. The surgeon met me in the radiology department. He took pictures said everything looks good. he tried to stick me and took another picture, realized he was down to low. Tried again up higher and Yes..got it took another picture while i drank that white contrast stuff..he wanted to make sure he filled me enough to give me good restriction..i got to watch it on the screen it was actually very cool!! So I had my first fill I am happy and purees fro 2 days! :(

It is frustrating but does happen. It is not major surgery to flip it back. It can be done under a local but you might not want to watch.

Im glad you got a fill in.

good luck on your journey.

It sounds like they have this hurdle under control and that your going to be alright--just remember right now your health is number one--without you how can you help anybody else? Hang in there
