Another 2 bite the dust!

So for all my bitching lately I lost two pounds this week. It is about time!! I know it is not directly from the band because I've been struggling with portions. I called the Dr and pleaded my case, he moved up the fill by a week. I wish I could get in before 5-30. I don't want to piss him off.

Whatever right. Im rejoicing in the loss.

Hang in there, woman! It feels like forEVER when you're waiting, doesn't it? But you know there are good reasons to do the fills slowly, and I know how much fun you have in the hospital, so let's not hurry back there, OK? You are making headway, it's springtime (it's notoriously difficult to lose weight in winter; your body is evolutionarily programmed to HANG ON to extra insulation so you'll survive), you are healthy (no ruptures, slips, "productive burps," right?), so you're getting good feedback from your body that's you're doing the right thing to take it slow. It's SO MUCH SMARTER to move forward carefully and wait for results and equilibrium instead of pushing into an unhealthy response and then having to spend time, money, and your good health to just get back to where you were (imagine how mad you'd be then!). So... keep on keeping on. You are rising to you own challenge beautifully, you're on the path you want to be on (even if not at warp speed!), and you've got a chance to enjoy your life. And if you're really bored... come to KC and let me put you to work! xoxo, K
