getting ready to start my journey

hi. my name is teresa. i am from upstate south carolina. i am about to have lap band surgery on january 22nd, 2008. my surgeon is dr. rowitz at am med healthcare in anderson, south carolina.

i just wanted to get some input from people who have had surgery. i know what i have read and heard about, but there is nothing like personal experience.

i am excited about having surgery, but nervous, mostly because i have never had any surgeries before.

if anyone would like to give me some hints on what to do or not to do, i would appreciate it.

you can email me at teresa29657@yahoo.com or leave me a message here and i will check back.

thanks

LAP-BAND Patients

I see you haven't gotten any responses. I haven't been banded yet either, so I really can't give you any advice, except to read othr people's journals and read the message boards. They are a great source of what to expect, do, and not do.
