  3. hi, i was banded on 1/22/08. at my two week appt, i had lost 17 pounds. now a week later i have only lost 1 or 2. not sure because the scale at my gym is different than doctor's office. but my clothes are getting looser. so as long as i am losing inches, i am not going to worry about the pounds as much. or try not to. about to go on semi solid foods next week. did you do ok with the transition from liquids to solids?

ladyroz that is great that you are losing fast. i was banded on january 22nd. i went to my gym today, just to weigh and say hey to everyone. still sore and not quite ready to work out yet. anyway, i had lost 6 pounds from tuesday to friday. i could not believe it. it may be water weight, but i hope it continues. good luck to you. teresa29657
  5. hi. i am teresa from south carolina. i was banded on january 22nd. the surgery was not as bad as i thought, i was kind of scared because i have never had surgery before. also, the liquid diet is not as hard as i would have thought so far. i thought i would be hungry, but so far so good. if anyone can let me know what to expect down the line, write me. i would appreciate any input
  6. hi. my name is teresa. i am from upstate south carolina. i am about to have lap band surgery on january 22nd, 2008. my surgeon is dr. rowitz at am med healthcare in anderson, south carolina. i just wanted to get some input from people who have had surgery. i know what i have read and heard about, but there is nothing like personal experience. i am excited about having surgery, but nervous, mostly because i have never had any surgeries before. if anyone would like to give me some hints on what to do or not to do, i would appreciate it. you can email me at teresa29657@yahoo.com or leave me a message here and i will check back. thanks teresa:smile:
