Finally..I'm banded

Going back to Tues-Nov 13th. My DH and I arrived at Manatee Mem. Hospital at 6:30am. We were sent to the 2nd floor where they were waiting to prep me. After being poked and prodded with all kinds of needles and IV's....they finally took me to the OR about 8:30.

Once in the OR...they had me get off the gurney and step up onto the lounge type bed where she said that they would be putting my feet up into holsters. All the nurses were so friendly and made me feel completely at ease.

The anethestist put the oxygen on my face and within seconds I was out. The next thing I remember is waking up to someone telling me it was all over.

After a little while in recovery, they wheeled me up to my room where my DH was waiting for me.

I slept most of the time except for when they were taking my vitals. I did get nauseus once, it was gas bubbles coming out..once they did I felt much better.

I went home the next day.

Today is Friday and I'm feeling stronger everyday. I'm trying to get in a whole protein drink but I'm just not hungry at all.
