Drink more Margaritas

blogs/blog-0141517001367332443.jpgThis morning I bought a variety of Crystal light flavors and low and behold, there, on the top shelf, was Margarita flavored Crystal Light. I decided not to buy it but it is a thought for a different flavor.

I am trying to rule out anything I really do not like the taste of before surgery. I have yet to find a protein shake that isn't disgusting to my taste buds. I am going to try isopure next. Wonder where I can find those......

This week is dedicated to trying new clear drinks and other liquids....the best chicken broth, etc.

Once I survive the week of pre-op diet and the first few weeks after surgery diet, I can cope with anything.

Margarita's anyone?

I didn't know that there was a Margarita flavored Crystal Light. I'll have to check it out. I never found a chicken broth better than the Chunky Soup Heart Healthy Chicken Noodle flavor. I had to strain out the noodles and the chicken, but it was good. Good luck.

I think I've tried every protein drink available. The only one that I can stand is Syntrax Nectar.

I get unflavored protein and put it in my iced decaf coffee...19grams of protein .. I use to go to chinese restaurant and just get chicken broth ..was really good.

Isopure is at Vitamin Shoppe or GNC--I would buy a couple of individual bottles first to see if you like it. You could also have Crystal Lite with unflavored protein powder instead of the Isopure--cheaper, and in my opinion more palatable. Good luck!

I like the NECTAR clear drinks. I have strawberry kiwi, fuzzy navel and the grape. Grape is my least favorite. I mix with 10 oz water, 1/2 packet of crystal light and lots of ice. I enjoy them for 23 grams of protein each.
