HEADACHE!

Two days down on the pre-op diet, and MY GOD the headache I had last night! I went to bed at 9 because the pain was unbearable. It's still there a bit today. From what I've read, everyone seems to say that day 2 and 3 of the pre-op diet is the hardest.

... sugar, caffeine, additive, presertive, colouring, possibly gluten... you are in MAJOR withdrawal from all the evils of processed and modern food! Hang in there!

OK, so I guess it is normal! Hopefully it passes soon. Still have it today, but nowhere near as bad as last night.

I'm guessing caffeine is the biggest culprit. Caffeine withdrawl is known for causing major headaches.

I don't drink coffee, but like an occasional Diet Dr. Pepper. I wouldn't think it would be enough to do this, because I wasn't drinking them every day.
