Driving

I was allowed to drive as soon as I quit taking pain medicine, which was about 4 days after my surgery. I didn't have any problems when I drove. Call your doctor tomorrow, and see what he has to say for sure, though. Good luck!

I was told wait at least 1-2 weeks for abdominal healing. You should be good to go, but watch out for pot holes and speed bumps, they really jiggle your stomach and you want as little stretching/movement as possible during healing of your internal and external sutures, etc.

I was told to not drive until I was done with pain meds...just like Tarakuk.

I was allowed to drive when I was done taking pain medicine. I am one week out and drove the dog to the groomers yesterday and back home. I was exhausted!

if you can stomp your feet your good to go!! w/ no pain meds

I was allowed to drive after 2 weeks. I did just fine, no pain.
