Down 13lbs in my first week.

I am down 13lbs in my first week. I had one episode of throwing up when I tried to crush a mulitvitamin. Talkin about leaving a bad taste in your mouth EWWW!

I have since stayed with taking a childs vitamin at an adult dose. It lacks the minerals that I am sure are essential. I am going to call the doctors office today to ask more about it. My multiv. is a bit larger or right at the size of an M&M so am skeptical if it will go down properly.

I am drinking soups, water, and protein shakes.

I go for walks and help with very light stuff around the house. I think my drainage tube site is finally closing because it did not drain blood or fluid last night - sorry hope you weren't eating when I said that.

Should I be doing more? I need to read more here and get soem ideas.

Peace,

Rob

Congratulations Rob on the excellent loss! It sounds like you're doing everything correctly and I know my nutritionist was okay with children's vitamins for a while (didn't really like it, but was okay with it). Good luck for continued success!

Rob, it sounds like you're doing great. On the multi ask if you can maybe crush it up into yogurt or sugar free pudding, or maybe mix it in those soups or shakes. The one thing about a lot of those children vits is they lack a decent amount of iron, and Vitamin D.

Keep on working your sleeve.

Excellent - find the pills to swallow and you will not taste the bad stuff..... I changed over to that and it went a lot better. Also check out my pictures and weight chart you might want to do this it has been excellent to show folks what is really happening. I did side views which is the worst possible angle for pictures you can have but it shows the real progress. Keep us posted on your losses.
