Why so few posters?

I have been alternating between this site and OH's VSG message board. I noticed that there are few posts from sleevers in general, compared to the other surgeries. Why is that?

I know the sleeve is newer, and fewer people have had it. But I also think (hope) that sleevers have the fewest complications/problems, thus do not post looking for help as much. Also, perhaps sleevers don't need the constant support that bandsters do, for example, because there are fewer adjustments/changes with the sleeve.

At least, that is what I am hoping.

And if you are sleeved and just lurking...please post! We soon-to-be-sleevers have enquiring minds and want to know!

My surgeon consult is Monday morning. Man, am I excited!!!!!!

I agree with your assumptions that there aren't as many sleeve issues as there are with the band, and even with RNY. I noticed there aren't as many threads on OH about the sleeve or complications as I see on the Revision board. I don't even visit the band or RNY board over there. I lurk on the Rant and Raves forum over there because some of those people crack me up.

I am excited to hear how your consult goes on Monday.

The only thing about here that drives me crazy is that my blog gets viewed a bunch, but there's only a few that comment. I never understood the concept of reading my blog, yet not bothering to comment on any of it. I guess that's what we get with the anonimity of the internet.

Have a great weekend.

Gastric Sleeve Patients

Tiffy, I think the chatter has slowed down too, maybe the holidays? Or maybe all the senior sleevers have been so thorough and covered most of it? I still love hearing you guys get on a TMI subject, gives me a chuckle. I am thankful for all the help and concern that you all share with us newbys and especially covering some subjects that you don't know how to ask.... Happy Thanksgiving all!
