Followers 15 years ago today, I proposed to my best friend and she said yes. 2 dozen roses just got delivered, now I need to think something really special for next month and the marriage anniversary.
KAATNS LAP-BAND Patients June 13, 201313 yr Author stats Wow, so cool that you remembered the proposal date! Way to go TPops!
Kime-lou LAP-BAND Patients June 13, 201313 yr Author stats Smart man!! My hubs didn't even propose - we got engaged during an argument- actually we really haven't argued much since. Go Fig. My hubs also, does buy gifts. I've never gotten flowers, EVER!!!! I keep giving the hubs not so subtle hints- hell I even sent him the damm number in an email, still nothing. Recreate the way you proposed, or propose all over a gain with a ring or necklace. I would fall out if my hubs did that.
Terry Poperszky LAP-BAND Patients June 13, 201313 yr Popular Comment Author stats Steph, I am a geek. I have all the dates, first kiss, proposal, etc. recorded in my calendar.
Terry Poperszky LAP-BAND Patients June 13, 201313 yr Author stats Kime, my wife and I are the two hardest people on the planet to buy gifts for, me? Because if I want something, I go out and buy it. Her? She never wants anything.
Kime-lou LAP-BAND Patients June 13, 201313 yr Author stats I mistyped- the hubs never buys gifts. The only thing he purchased for me is a pair of footed pj's - they were way big and uncomfy and they were for Valentines. Maybe one day I will get romance, but I doubt it.
dylanmiles23 LAP-BAND Patients June 13, 201313 yr Author stats you are a very sweet man. Lucky wife and husband, works both ways.

I have been married 42 1/2 years. I get for no reason gifts. I once mentioned I wanted a diamond wedding band, he surprised me with one! You never know.

Terry Poperszky LAP-BAND Patients June 13, 201313 yr Author stats Kime, the last thing I want on my wife when she is headed for bed is clothes In the words of the red neck visiting Victoria Secret with his wife, "75.00 for that??? You're just going to end up nekkid anyhow!" Dylan, that is how I like to do it as well. We were at a POW WOW and there was a turquoise dealer and my wife was looking at necklaces, each one she looked at was more expensive than the previous one, and she kept telling the guy how she couldn't afford to spend that much finally he got to the last necklace, gave her a killer deal that was still more than the others and she turned it down. So I stepped over and bought it for her.
Sharpie LAP-BAND Patients June 13, 201313 yr Author stats very nice anniversary Terry ... my husband of 37 years has always been pretty good with gifts til the last few years.. we just don't need much.. he does do flowers sometimes and used to do candy but that of course is not going to happen now.. we buy each other weed eaters and stuff like that now.. not romantic but practical.. at 15 years we were way more romantic and I was way cuter.. lol
