Hunger!!

Well, today is the first day of my two week liquid diet! I'm already hungry--- head hunger and REAL hunger! It's gonna be a really long two weeks! I go back to school tomorrow. Hoping it will be a good day! Is it just me or is every other commercial on tv about food?!?! I guess I should be looking on the bright side--- at this time in two weeks my surgery will be over and the rest of this journey can get started! Wish me luck these next couple of weeks!

It's not you, it's everyone. After a few days you'll forget about food. After the surgery you will get bored with food, or at least I did. I have thick shakes for breakfast and had those during my liquid days. Add lots of ice and blend well. They fill you up better than just liquid. I do get burps from the air but a small price to pay for a new body.

Good luck.

Yeah I'm still hungry. I just try to keep myself distracted by doing things and drink ALOT of water.

Thanks! I'm trying to drink a lot of water too! Starting to get just a bit of a headache! School starts back tomorrow so that will keep me very busy during the day!

drink a cup of coffee... that should help with the headache. Can you have smoothies? If so, go get you one...

Do you have access to a freezer during the day? if so, go get you some fruit bars. I ate Jello, pudding, soup (broth, no chunks) and made smoothies to drink.

smoothies: Go to Sams and get the precut frozen fruit in a bag... it's a big bag of mixed fruit. Keep them frozen. In a blinder (i bought the mini Hamilton Beach) take two-three cups of the frozen fruit, mix in one container of the fat/sugar free yogurt, and some protein power. Blend...

I didn't add ice because the fruit is frozen.... and if it's too think, add a little Skim milk.

I also really liked the boost pre made drinks.... the milk choc. and the banana was good. I had to drink cold and all at one time.

and did i tell you i was on Vacation for the last week of my Liq. diet.... fun fun fun....lol

Good luck

Oh wow, bayougirlmrsc! I don't think I could've handled being on vacation! I feel like I'm starving now! I'm really craving something salty and crunchy. Just trying really hard to stick with it! Thanks for the advice.
