Rebooting

surgery was 1/19, no fill yet. I have to reboot while I wait for my band to be filled. This is hard I'm running on will power! Isn't that what got me in trouble in the first place!? lol Any suggestions on going on a liquid diet to get myself recharged for weight loss and back to a better frame of mind.

i have done this since i have been banded and it worked quite well. i just went back my preop diet for a week and lost 5 lbs...it seemed to be much harder than when i initially did it though...probably just a mind thing! you can do it!

Learning portion control when you need a fill is very hard. Why not try adding a snack in the morning and afternoon that consists of a protein drink which contains at least 25 gms of protein. Munch on an apple with a table spoon of peanut butter. Will power is hard, that is what got us all here, lack of it. I know you want the weight to fall off but slow progress and developing healthy eating habits is the key to long term success. Good luck!
