24 Hours Down

I was banded on Wednesday 03/28 and I am still feeling icky.....I have a lot of pain in my chest and shoulder. My incisions are not hurting as bad as my chest. I also had a hernia repaired while I was under yesterday, so I guess that may be adding to the pain.. Hoping tomorrow is a better day......

Every day will be a little better then the one before. The first 3-4 days are the worst and then you see a marked difference each day. Hang in there!! I had the same as you...hernia. That pain is normal. The gas is the worst, but seems better after a week. Walk, walk, walk and take some gas relief meds. Good luck

I also hade my band put in 3/26/12 at 7 am I was home by 1pm. I have pain in my left shoulder, it feels like a bone is broke. My stomach is soar and they gave me this thing to blow into. (Which I hate) But any way take your gass relief strip and that should help. Aso I took a chewable vitamin and tried to cosentrate on chewing it to smitherine, befor I knew it I had swallowed it, I will have to really pay attention to my swallow reflect. Any way I feel alot better today than yesterday. Good luch.
