OKay here it goes.....I was banded on 03-28-12..Got through surgery just fine only had pain for about two days. 2 1/2 weeks out I feel great and pretty much healed. My issue is I don't get my first fill until 04.26.12. I have been trying to stick to my diet, and eating healthy with small portions but I am so hungry, and find myself starting to eat more and more and not feeling full like I did right after the surgery. I had originally lost 25 pounds and now I have gained 6 of the pounds back....ugh...any advise or ideas are welcome....
  3. That is awesome news!!! I was banded on 03/28/12 and started liquid diet just 4 days prior to surgery. I am down 18 pounds. Congrats again and keep us updated!!!
  4. Congratulation!!!!! I was banded on 03/28/12 and yesterday was my first day back to work. It went great as well. It is great that you have been able to stick to the liquids and SF diet... It is getting so hard for me I am so tired of liquids lol...but I am sticking to them. I find it a lot easier when I am not around food or people eating, so I can imagine you struggle with the cafe so close... But you can do it and good luck in the future!!!!!!!
  5. Hello Everyone!! I was banded on last Wednesday, 03/28/2012 at 9:45am. The first two days were rough with the gas pains. I woke up on the third day and felt great. I was able to get out and go for about a half a mile walk, and didn't even have to stop and rest I would say the hardest thing going into my 5th day post op is the liquid diet. Since I did it a week pre op as well. I am so tired of broth and sf jello/Popsicles, and protien shakes. I am just ready for some texture or I guess something a little different. But over all everything is going great and I look forward to getting into the gym!!!!!!

I was banded on Wednesday 03/28 and I am still feeling icky.....I have a lot of pain in my chest and shoulder. My incisions are not hurting as bad as my chest. I also had a hernia repaired while I was under yesterday, so I guess that may be adding to the pain.. Hoping tomorrow is a better day......
