I was banded on 1/19/2012 and I have the same thing going on, but not really worried about it I think it will dissolve. They usually use stitches that dissolve. My first fill appointment was last week but the dr. had to cancel and I can't do it this week so I think that as long as it doesn't look infected I think I'll wait til then and talk to the dr. about it. If you are concerned call you dr. office.

It is ok yall it is from the stitching from the inside. I had it for months, when the surgeon saw it he just clipped it off.

It's a suture, it will either dissolve or surgeon can clip. As long as your suture line is closed you will be ok, sometimes the sutures wiggle there way to the outside.

I just saw my Dr for 1st PO a few days ago and she said exactly what Love the NewMe said. Not to worry as long as it's not red or or the suture line is not closed.
