1st Fill...

So I am very excited and anxious as today I go to the doctor for my first fill!!! As of last week I was down a total of 25lbs and I can't wait to see my progress after the fill. Can anyone tell me what to expect? Well on my way...here I go teeth_smile.gif.

LAP-BAND Patients

Congratulations on your 25 lb weight loss! I had my first fill about six weeks ago. I followed doctor's directions to the letter. You will really want to do that. Even with following the rules, I started throwing up more. Not daily, but more. Reported it to the PA, and he said if it happened again, then I should call and go in. Bottom line: today he took out all fluid and put me on three meds. He wants to make sure that the area is not inflamed. Will put fluids back in band in two weeks if all is well. During that time, I am going to do my best to keep doing what I was doing (sans the throwing up).
