Follow Up Visit; fluid removed

So I decided to put myself out of misery and followed up with my surgeon today. Turns out that his nurse practioner had given me a .5 fill on last week. It was simply too much. I'm right around my sweet spot and that took me over the edge. He took out .25 and I felt immeditately better. I can now drink and eat without it coming back up. If you ever experience a time where nothing will go down, not soft foods, liquids, or even protein drinks, then go to the doctor...its too tight and you'll do more harm than good keeping it that way....lesson learned!

I have been there and done that! I am so very glad to see you are doing so much better. Most people don't realize that being to tight will prevent weight lost because it will lead to eating slider foods that are very high in calories. I will also cause long term damage due to the excessive acid reflux.

Hi Chriper,

I had to have .25 removed yesterday also. I couldn't eat, drink or sleep. The acid reflux wass horrible. I don't want to lose weight this way. No I see why I'm losing slower that others. They can't be eating or drinking anything. I felt better b4 leaving the office. WHen I got home I tore that food up. I was sohungry and thristy.
