No appetite..

I'm sure its probably been due to my mood but I have had absolutely no appetite for the last 4 days. I am attempting to get my protein in but am falling short. Also, I was ok'd to start mushies last week and have yet to do that. Has anyone else stayed on strictly a liquid diet even though they were given the go ahead to move on? For some reason the idea of pureeing my food or eating baby food just does not appeal. I have managed some soup but not more than 3 oz at a time.

I'm definitely going to try and get more protein in and try for more mushy food. I'm back to work next week and will probably have to start with solid food and I'm nervous my body won't be able to handle it.

It is scary LeeLee. You have to start mushy food and go slowly so your body can adjust easily. Having food rejected is not fun buy losing the weight is right? Instead of pureeing the foods you' d like to eat try food that is already mushy, like cottage cheese or yogurt. I can't remember now what all I ate. It will be okay. Take it slow and chew, chew, chew.

You should try some mushies. I didn't puree anything, couldn't do it. I ate soft scrambled eggs, tuna fish or canned chicken with lowfat mayo, turkey chili, fat-free refried beans with some fat free sour cream and lowfat cheese. Go very slowly and chew, chew, chew. The only time I get stuck now is when I eat too fast. Also, check out the mushie stage recipes thread on here. I got tons of ideas from there. Good Luck!
