I'm betting you did lose weight! BUT.. if you didn't.. it's OKAY. Sometimes it happens like that. Either way, don't get discouraged.. if you let the band work for you, it will! It's an awesome tool, and all you have to do is listen to your doctor, and do what he tells you. It WORKS!!

You can cheat your band if you want to.. it's easy to do, but you cheat yourself in the process. It's not so easy to do the right thing as much as you possibly can, but I promise you, that if you do, you will be one VERY HAPPY CAMPER! I'm just over 90 days out and I have already lost over half of my excess weight. Listen to your body.. not your head when it tells you you're hungry. Your body knows.

Congrats on joining band land! Can't wait to hear your progress!

THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE KIND WORDS!! I feel so bummed out...I did not lose 1 pound!!!????sad.gif I have followed my doctor's orders to the letter....he told me that my stomach was very bloated still and that is probably why the scale has not moved....?? I am down 2 pant sizes though, but have not lost a pound since July 8th...I want to cry......sad.gif

Okay, I am over the pity party!!biggrin.gif I love my band!! I feel better today than I have in over a year. I was at the point where I would not leave the house, which meant my husband had to do all shopping and errands for the past year. After only 2 weeks I am up and about, I even went to the mall after the appointment today....I had not been in a mall in over a year so, although I didn't lose any weight since surgery I have made some other great accomplishments, right!!??

You are doing amazing in 90 days!! I am so very impressed...you will be my inspiration, okay?

Again, thank you so very much for your kind words.

BTW, should I buy I scale?? I don't want to become obsessed with the scale but maybe I need to have one in my home?

I LOVE MY BAND!!

I was banded on the 5th and I probably shouldn't, but I weigh everyday. I have lost and gained back and forth since then. I don't know why because I have been following the diet...until today, today was not so great as I was making food for a going away party and ate some of the fruits and veggies. I know that isn't the worst thing, much better than my past self, but it still makes me feel bad, especially since I don't have the weight loss that everyone else does..on the bright side my clothes are all loose, so I know it is working. As long as you are doing what you are supposed to, it has to work for you eventually.

Well, I wrote out a long response to you and hit post and it flew out into cyber-space to be lost forevermore!

Just want you to know I'm cheering you on from the Nebraska Prairie! Oh, and who cares what the scale says as long as you get to keep tossing clothes into the "too big" pile?! NOT ME!! GOOOOOOOO YOUUU!
