  1. Thanks so much Angie!!
  2. Thanks everyone for the kind words!! Well, I did NOT lose one pound......I was really bummed out at first, but your words are all so very encouraging. My doctor said that I am still very bloated (this is true) and the weight loss will begin to show soon.....I hope so!! However, I am over the pity party!! I feel amazing......better than I have felt in over a year. I actually went to the mall yesterday, which I had not done in over a year. I am grateful that I am not out of breath from just walking a few steps anymore......I love my band! I do not own a scale because I use to hate facing my reality. However, please give me your thoughts on having a scale in my house and if so, I would appreciate your suggestions on what brand. Again, thanks for all of your support!!
  3. THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE KIND WORDS!! I feel so bummed out...I did not lose 1 pound!!!???? I have followed my doctor's orders to the letter....he told me that my stomach was very bloated still and that is probably why the scale has not moved....?? I am down 2 pant sizes though, but have not lost a pound since July 8th...I want to cry...... Okay, I am over the pity party!! I love my band!! I feel better today than I have in over a year. I was at the point where I would not leave the house, which meant my husband had to do all shopping and errands for the past year. After only 2 weeks I am up and about, I even went to the mall after the appointment today....I had not been in a mall in over a year so, although I didn't lose any weight since surgery I have made some other great accomplishments, right!!?? You are doing amazing in 90 days!! I am so very impressed...you will be my inspiration, okay? Again, thank you so very much for your kind words. BTW, should I buy I scale?? I don't want to become obsessed with the scale but maybe I need to have one in my home? I LOVE MY BAND!!
  4. Hi Everyone, This is my first post but I have been keeping up with all of my fellow July 2011 Bandsters. Tomorrow is my first post-op appt. with surgeon and I am nervous....what if I haven't lost any weight????? No....I had to, right??? Okay, that's it for now; this is the point where I hope someone will give me some reassurance before I get on that scale tomorrow......please??
  5. Well, tomorrow I have my first post-op appt, I was banded on July 8, 2011. I weighed 208 lbs. prior to surgery and am very nervous about my first appt. My fear...... what if I haven't lost any weight??? I have not gone near a scale since surgery!! Yes, no weight loss scares me.....I need some words of encouragement, okay? Also, this is my first ever blog post, they will get better, I hope.
