OFFICIALLY 1 WEEK POST BANDING!!

The days are getting more tolerable and I'm concentrating on getting as much protein in my body.... up to 30 grams. Still get such a full feeling after drinking and or protein but I try to walk it off..My brain is starting to snap back into place..made some business calls and answered some e-mails...spent some time hanging with the family and tried to just relax...Not sure when I'll go back to school and I'm not pressing it either...i have an appntmnt to see my physician today and have some minor questions...it will be good to go out...also planning on buying myself something that will make me smile...these next few days will be short lived bc once i go bk into the rat race...its tough to come out so i plan to enjoy them as much as possible...

It does get easier....it's the best thing that I have ever done. I am 2 1/2 years out and 138#'s off I weigh less than my goal......S

I am having problems getting the proper amount of protein in. I don't like the protein powder, nor the drinks that I can buy at the grocery stores. However, I got fat free yogart, 1% milk and strawberries and I will mix some of each together along with some ice and protein powder and see if that helps. I hope it does. I just got my third fill today. I am not losing much weight at all and have been trying so hard to do what I have been told. I hope I soon get to a fill that restricts me and I start losing some weight. It really is a challenge, count the protein, count the calories, count the carbs. One can go crazy trying to get the proper amount of each in a days time. I am going to concentrate however on the protein. My hair has been falling out and I know it is from not getting the proper amount of protein. You came a long way. I hope you buy yourself something really special. Good Luck!

Yay to 1 week! I was so terrible about my protein the first 2 weeks post op. I would just forget to eat ... well drink anything. Everything will just become routine within 2 months, at least it did for me.

Hi,

How are you doing with gas? I was banded on the 1st and that has been my problem. I am walking 1/2 mile twice a day. It helps but I need something more.
