Happy New Year...

Happy New Year.... Congratulation you have all made it into my 2011 yr. My sister called me this morning and said, "Fawn, try to do better this yr than last." :) I have to and I will. For the first two days of the year I am on a liquid diet... Trying to cleanse my body from the old year. Getting focus on the new. want to start from feeling free, and lite.. lol.

You can do it! I shared this quote with a few others. I found it last night while looking for positive quotes to motivate me.

Quote:You don't drown by falling in the water...you drown by staying there. So....just remember not to "stay" in the water. I know often times before the lapband I would start a diet only to "fall off the wagon". I would get discouraged and stay in the water (so to speak). Just remember this is a journey and you may have a bad day. Just remember to get refocused and keep moving ahead with your goals.

Fawn, that is a good approach to the new year. We fight this battle mentally more than anything else. So any strategy that mentally sets our resolve and commitment is awesome and clever. You go Girl... I love quotes too and the one from Dadkins8 is so encouraging. I did allow myself to stay in the water too long but my head wasn't all the way under so I jumped out and have a new appreciation and will to allow my band to work for me. It's all really a mater of choice. Stay in the water or get out and get moving. Blessings to us all this New Year.
