One year Anniversary...down 70 lbs :)

So, I had my sugery one year ago today and I am down 70lbs. I am very pleased even though when I first began my journey I did expect the weight to come off a little quicker but I finally realized this is the way it is suppose to happen. Although I lost weight from Dec. to July it was slow going but when I finally hit the correct fill I have been losing about a 1lb a week. The best part is that I have not gain anything back. I can not remember when the last time was that I did not lose then gain lose then gain...this is a good feeling. I would like to lose 50 more lbs (ideally I probably should lose 75 but I will be very happy with 50 more lost). I am ready for the new year and I am feeling pretty good about it!! Hope everyone else is feeling the same as well.

    Congratulations.. I was a year on the 18th and I'm at the same place of 70lbs....so it seems this is normal and great! Congratulations again!

    Good for you! I am only three months out of surgery and lost very quickly the first month and then down to about 2-3 pounds a month. I have had two fills and still haven't found my sweet spot. I am glad that you mentioned it was slow for you but it kept coming off! (I want it and I want it now!, can be a terrible sabotager) Thanks for your inspiration.

    Hi, Thanks for the post. Congratulations to you! I haven't had my surgery yet. I've been wondering just how quickly or slowly the weight comes off. To lose 70 lbs in a year seems so sweet to me, as this is about my goal. It's wonderful to hear all the success stories.     nice job. thats wonderful. I am 3 years out. Iwent from 240 down to 175. Iwent for a fill Monday to try and gety the last 30 lbs off. Those are the hardest.
