OK I'm only 2 days away but I don't have time to be nervous. They finally hired a temp to replace me and I've been training her all day! I can't worry about work but I must admit the stress has caused me to slip on my diet, but I stuck to good food. I had a salad with dressing for lunch . I know, but I will do better this evening and tomorrow.

by the way, my nutritionist recommended two cookbooks both by Margaret Furtado: Idiots Guide to Eating Well and Recipies for Life after Weight los.

LAP-BAND Patients

Best of luck to you. This was the best thing I could have done for myself, and I am sure you will feel the same.

Remember, after surgery do as much walking as you can to get rid of the gas you are going to feel in your neck and upper back/shoulder. A lot of people us GasX, but I just walked around my condo on every commercial break. It really helps.

Good luck and welcome to the Bandster way of life.

Welcome to the new you. You will see there are lot of ways of eating healthier and still taste good... I found that trying to drink 64 ozs of water ain't gonna happen.!!! Now that I'm banded and have been for 6 mos...(Lost 52lbs)...I found I can only drink about maybe and sometimes 48 ozs of fluid per day...Which includes my coffee, milk, protein shake and waters.... Good Luck! AND REMEBER WERE ALL HERE FOR YOU......!!
