15 days

15 days to go, i can't wait. I am getting a little bit nervous. On Sept. 14th, i go for a visit with the dr., i guess they will tell me everything. I also do my pre-op that day. Hopefully everything will go well. I have been trying to chew my food longer and not drink and eat, but it is so hard. Someone please let me know how you do it correctly.:thumbup::smile:

LAP-BAND Patients

I am 22 days post op. I too had a hard time adjusting to not drinking when I am eating. But after surgery and the liquid diet for 2 weeks, I was ready for some real food even though it was pureed. I really did not think about not drinking and I have gotten along fine and you will too.

Also. .. good to make sure your food is moist, that helps a lot. After a while, it just becomes second nature! You'll do fine. Best wishes.

All of you make it sound so easy. I can't wait until I get my band. I try and diet but I get so hungry. I have stopped eating between meals but boy at meal time I eat and enjoy my food. 3 appointments next week and the throat one on October 11 and I hope that is it. I love reading all fo these blogs cause I am finding out what to expect. Thank you everyone.
