It's easy to forget

Wow! how soon we forget how much to eat. I received my second fill on August 10th and it kicked in 2 weeks later, I was eating way to much and to fast before the fill but was still losing around a pound a week...I was still eating a good amount but was feeling so gassy and bloated after meals and would burp for hours:eek:. I went to the forum to get some insight and many of you said if you are feeling this way you have eaten to much and to fast, I then started listening to my body again because I was ignoring the signals... at first I was a little mad:mad2: because I was eating refried beans and queso and could only eat 3oz and it was so good but I was getting full after one little burp I knew I should stop:ohmy:. With all of that being said I am back on track with portion sizes and know how important it is to keep getting fills so it will keep us in check.:scared2: I LOVE MY BAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LAP-BAND Patients

YOU LOOK FANTASTIC!!!! Congratulations on your success and on "finding your way" with the chewing, eating slow and the band as a whole!

I've been eating with my daughter the last day and it was amazing for her to watch me: eat, exercise, energy. She noticed on several occasions that I eat differently, have more energy, and outwalked her every step of the way for more than six miles yesterday!! Yeah band! Yeah us!!!
