Feeling Really Good

Today is 6 days post surgery and I feel SO good. No more pain and my energy is coming back. I'm even amazed that my incisions are healing. I have been a little reluctant to get on the scale but today my co-workers noticed a slight change in my face. I am so happy to feel so good so quickly.

I am starting to feel hungrier...but nothing too bad yet. My friend said i'm still in the honeymoon stage with my band, but you know what I'm going to enjoy it and try to keep this motivation and excitement as long as i possibly can.

I post to keep myself on track and accountable. It really helps me.:smile2:

You know you can keep the honeymoon stage for as long as you want..just believe in yourself and look forward to the big picture. I never lost the honeymoon feeling..I am still on the honeymoon!! I told myself right after the first fill that this is not a "diet" this is a "lifestyle change" and I firmly believe that. I wake up happy everyday. I am addicted to the scales..gotta love those digital ones. I am excited to lose 2 ounces..it is better than a gain..it keeps me going. Believe in yourself, stay focused and stay positive..you CAN do this..you and your band..what better team could you ask for?? Good luck on your journey!

Oh yeah and I totally eat sushi all the time.. well as sushi as I get with my california rolls lol.. but yes I eat them, just instead of a whole roll or two for a meal, I'll eat about 3 slices and be done.

I live for sushi. I grew up in the midwest and never even knew what it was until I moved to Cali in 1999. Now it is my favorite always! And my issue (chewing food) is not so much an issue with rolls or sashimi.

You are doing fantastic! I'm glad you feel good and I look forward to future posts :-). Have a great weekend!!!
