dazed and confused

I have not lost more than a few pounds in months! I don't feel as if I eat much quantity, always protein...I do get into triouble late at night with grazing behavior but there again, even if not a great choice, not a large amount. I walk 30-60 min. every day (almost) and do weight training three days per week. I see I was talking about getting into the 100's back in the fall but am still not there...anyone have plateau breaker ideas?????????:)

Change it all up. Eat more or eat less, exercise more or differently...I've discovered that if I stick with the same thing for too long I just sort of get stuck there...If I increase my calories for a few weeks (assuming I was geing really really good to start with) and mix up the exercise things seem to start back up....

Good luck!!!

I would lower the calorie intake a day to 1000 caloires. Keep with the exercising. The plateau will break we all reach this stage. Then one day you will look at your scale and it will move.. All the best to you.. Good Luck!

I would start keeping a journal. Dailyplate.com is a great on-line one. You can set a daily caloric intake goal and track everything you eat. It does all the calculations for you, very user friendly. And it also can track your work outs and estimate calories burned.

Also, eating late at night even if you are making a healthier choice in food can hinder weight loss. Consider eating no later than 7pm. And if you have to have something choose a lean protein and no carbs.

Hope that helps and best of luck!!

I will try to track my calories as you both advised....anything that might get me to budge that scale! I know eating late at night is BAD as it's been a long time bad habit...I just need to learn to go to bed!! I appreciate all of your encouragement and wise words of wisdom!
