Good morning!!

And it is!

Yesterday was my surgery and although there was some pain all day, it was manageable. I had a nice night's sleep and had some hot tea and more jello this morning. Took some Vicadin again too--not going to try to be a hero at this point in the game. ;)

Good news, though--still no nausea or gas pains! I really hope this lasts! Seems too good to be true!

I'm a bit more swollen today, but the icepacks help with that. All in all, not feeling too bad! :tt1:

I'm going to take it easy today and for the next few days, but I'm very optimistic about my healing process!

There is this TINY irrational bit of me, though, that does worry this won't work for me. Has anyone else ever had those worries? I'll feel better when I see and feel some results down the road, I am sure.

Thanks for any advice and encouragement!

Have a great day everyone! :)

YAY Maggs! I'm glad it is going really well for you. And YES, I totally had those thoughts. In fact, even though I'm losing 1-2 pounds a week quite steadily, I STILL have those thoughts. It is totally normal.

Hope you are 100% very soon!

Maggs! Its definitely fun to find people in our area! I definitely feel a bit irrational, and concerned that this wont work for me. But I know it's only in my weak moments. I'm going to continue to pray that God uses the surgery for good, and continues to give me strength. You know the weirdest part? I feel the lower part of my stomach growl, like i'm hungry, but it doesnt effect me at all. I'm still forcing myself to eat! keep in touch!

I am so glad your not in too much pain! I go Monday and have the same fear as you! So scared I won't lose that much and that would be more embarrassing! Please keep posting on your progress!
