Entering week 5, starting to feel hungry I need to continuing healing so I can get my first fill. Seems to be no restriction at all hungry every2 hrs. Not near as full as last 3 weeks. I have not weigh since my 1 week post op visit then i weighed 456 i think. I Weighed 497 in jan 2001. Had surgery on may 22, 2010. Its very hard to be compliant to my weight menu.:)

Sounds like you are right on track!! Do you go next week for your first fill. Stay positive and try to drink fluids as much as possible to deter those hunger feelings. I wish you the best!!

you are certainly on the right path! Congratulations on your surgery, and taking the steps to regain control of your life!

You are in what we read about on here all the time - Bandster Hell - which is when you have had the surgery, have little to no restriction, and little weight loss. Hang in there - since this is the time your body should be healing, and not worrying about what the scale says!

Best wishes!

Congradulations.....Now here is when the work really starts to work....Remember whenever you want to go back to an old habit...Tell yourself " I didn't get this surgery for nothing"....If you get hungry try low fat yogurts, sugar free puddings, low fat cream cheese and whole wheat crackers, decaf beverages, cream soups....protein shakes....There are foods that can help....Don't try any regular foods until yur doctor tell you so....Because you may be hungry for it but your insides are not ready......Good luck.!
