Surgery is coming right up!

My surgery is on May 12th...Yep, 6 days! I went to pre op yesterday & I'm starting to get nervous!

I think the thing that scares me the most is the anesthesia. My mom thinks that's funny, but seriously! I'm scared! lol I have this fear that I won't wake up or something...I know it's silly but I'm just being honest! :thumbup:

Anyway I don't really know how to feel right now, I'm super excited that it's finally here but I'm worried as well.

I always have a little bit of fear about the anesthesia, but honestly, I'm always out so quickly that it doesn't matter in the end. :thumbup: I don't think it is silly at all.

I was very scared as well. I had surgery 4-28-10 and everything went great. Don't be scared, be happy you have made this decision to get healthy. Good luck.

My surgery date is May 12th too. I am feeling okay right now but once I get in the pre-op room I will start getting the jitters. My BP shoots up, my anxiety is high. Anesthesia doesn't scare me that much. It's just a normal feeling to be afraid of the unknown.

Hey I know what you mean anesthesia is scary I ha never had it until my lap band surgery Jan 14,2010 plus its really cold int there and it makes it worse everything will come out great. Don't worry about it you have made a great decision. Best wishes,Chachis
