People do notice..

it felt good seeing these women from work. I look at myself everyday and dont see much change...specially in the belly area. My boss was a little over the top with the compliments. Last time i saw her(about 1 year) she was doing the "cookie Diet" and she said it was working...in my head i asked myslef how long can you eat those cookies without getting totally sick, well it seems she stoped that and gained the 20lb she lost.

everyone complimented on my "pretty face"...maybe it was the make up, cuz i only use it 5-10 times a year.

Anyways, hopefully the next time i see them i have more progress. I am still stuck at 35lbs.

I have my 4th fill on the 20th. till then i will keep doing Zumba, treadmill and eating 1200-1500 cal a day.

yes i am still fustrated BUT i am tankfull for the band and do no regret it.

Hope all is well...

I relate to the frustration.

Do you ever feel like the hardest part about this experience is waiting? Like you know where you want to be and how you plan to get there, but you have to wait so much for the medical part at each stage?

I need to be patient, but sometimes I just feel like the fills could be bigger. Especially the first two. Waiting for restriction after surgery is really hard. Not to mention you wonder what people are thinking about you since you are not losing weight very quickly. Someone asked me at work if I was having issues with my band. It was kind of embarrassing to have to explain the process. I suppose many people just think it is the same as Gastric Bypass. Sometimes I wish I did not tell so many people I had the surgery.

Thanks for your post. It gives me hope. :cursing:

35 pounds is still a success, girl! It's 35 less than what you were having to carry around, so you should be very proud. While I am waiting for my approval, I have a couple of friends who have gotten it done. They both have lost at their own pace, with various results, so far, but the main point is that they are still losing. Every pound down is a great achievement! Good work!
