Ibuprofen with lapband

Have any of you been told that ibuprofen should only be used occasionally with a LAP-BAND®? Seems I remember this stated but I can't find info on it.

yes! my doc don't ever use it!

I used to pop 800 mg IB daily like they were going out of style for head aches. I have been told to be VERY careful. If they are taken and lay on the top of your band it could be very dangerous.

I have never been told not to..... I take the caplets (long and skinny) and break them in half before I pop them just to be safe.

My doc does not allow any NSAIDs.

i take Tylenol.. my Dr is ok with that, but i take it while my stomach has food and drink it wilth atleast 4 oz od water..ten i take chew on Tum.
