Post surgery hell

I had surgery on thursday and I can't lie kinda regretting it. Don't get me wrong I'm glad that I am doing something about my weight issues but my left shoulder still hurts and I just want to know when the pain ends. I'm deep breathing and walking and eating or should I drinking properly, but the discomfort is no joke. I use to sleep on my belly. How I long for those days.I'm sure I will get over this and a week or two from now be happy that I did this. For now though I'm in Lapband hell:w00t:

Thanks for posting on my blog....Yes recovery sometimes can be painful for some. I am a belly sleeper as well and could do that again after about 8 days....I slept in a recliner the first 4 or 5 nights. It does get better...I wanted it out after I got home as well...I think that is normal....You will come to realize it was a great decision and you will be feeling better and more energetic in no time...Hang in there and message me if you ever need to talk....Take good care of you and be gentle with yourself...Meg

I also was banded on the same day, and you're right the shoulder pains are pretty bad, however I found Tums and walking to help alleviate the symptoms. Time will heal all wounds. Hang in there!

this is kinda scary. I was wondering if any of you had HMO health insurance? Was it difficult to get approved or did you have to self pay?
