I am really anxious for all of the things to come but at the same time cant wait.

I was wondering what most people lost in the first 3 months?

WELCOME TO LBT! I lost about 30 pounds the first three months, but some of that was clothing weight (a weigh in with the doc, vs. at home). Many even gain during the first three months as most people don't have any restriction until they have several fills. My WL was all me during that period as I didn't have restriction until the third fill. Best wishes! -BG

Let me first say that you shouldn't go by what other people lose...and I say that because I have a co-worker as well as my sister in law that have also had the surgery. Our 3 bodies are totally different so we have lost weight at a different pace. I was banded Sept. 18th and so far I have lost 30 lbs. It is a little slower than I had hoped but I can't be upset because I'm losing instead of gaining. It's equalled out to be about 7.5 lbs a month. But I also haven't exercised much either. And like others have said, you aren't really restricted until you get a couple fills. I am on fill #3 now and am pretty restricted. I've lost 6 lbs since I got my fill almost 3 weeks ago. It's an exciting journey and I wish you all the best with everything! Hopefully I was of some help to you.
